He’s a beautiful Solomon! Milo is three and sings so well? I have an angel, too. A Vos who’s almost 7. He’ll say some words, laugh and do sound effects, but won’t carry a tune. I’m envious, but I love my Ekkie so much and he’s very happy.
…
If you’re thinking of getting one: They are super… smarter than any dog I’ve had, but need MUCH MORE social contact. Like a 3 year old human child, it would be abuse to leave one alone all day. You’d create a featherless basket case.
Oh Milo is gorgeous.
You have done a wonderful job with him. My Eclectus Max loves watching this video. Funny enough Max says most of the same words Milo does although he does not sing yet.
Thanks for sharing Milo’s talents.
This is the third male Eclectus that has the most adorable voice I have ever heard. Is it all up to luck as to what they sound like, or does the tone of voice rely on the owner?
He’s beautiful – are you sure he isn’t a Vosmaeri Eckie since they have the yellow at the tip of his tail. Mine is a vos and I was told that is the way to distinguish them from the Solomon’s. Adorable singing and talking. : )

@lprice2829 Hmmm I’m not sure I would do that, if a bird was nelected or something happend to it, it may be VERY difficult to tame. I’m not sure, anyway you are the bird expert so whatever your choice.
Awwwww, Cute! He must be very clever! Lol he is dead still at the beggining of the vid he has a beautiful high pitched voice that is a lovley bird you have!
Eclectus parrots range in price from as low as $400 up to over $1000. If cost is a consideration you might want to adopt a previously owned bird. Craigslist is a good place to look.
