My male Tango is 10 yrs old., and my female ChaCha is a rescue so I am not sure about her age. Interesting about the spider bite, do you know what kind of spider?
The state of Rees dispair.
My comments about her feathers were in response to winniefrankwilliam1’s comments, so please don’t take offence. She is a beautiful girl.
Awwe, gorgeous girl!
As for her feathers, my Sun Conure loves to snuggle down my top every night, and he looks as scruffy as a mutt before I put him to bed,
All of her feathers are intact, she just hasn’t felt the need to preen them.
Wish I had the chance to meet Isha.
Isha is like a child,
the camera doesnt give her true colours. She has the best diet and is well looked after. She was about 6 months old on this video, you should see her now. Isha has never been in a cage and goes to work every day and loves it. And i enjoy showing her off.
Thanks for your comment.
It’s nice that you take her with you, she’s like a little kid but probably better behaved. Maybe she was having a bad feather moment, in other parts of the video she looks beautiful. It’s nice to expose people to the love of an birdy companion. Maybe you can take advantage of the moment and encourage people to rescue a birdy friend from a shelter if their life style can handle it? =P
This bird needs to be sprayed with some water (gently). Her feathers look horrible. Plus people should not be touching her as birds can get very sick from any little germ. Give your head a shake lady.
Thats awesome that she gets to go everywhere with you, I wish that I could say the same for my Bella. I feed my eclectus a mix of fresh vegetables/fruit and very little seed.I didn’t mean to attack you about your bird, I was just saying what came to mind. I was told that an eclectus plumage reflects it’s diet, meaning not so good feathers=not so good diet. I really didn’t mean to cause any hard feelings. I’m sure your bird is a wonderful companion.

Isha has the best diet, She is a picture now, i thank you for your concern but she is in good hands. I dont mean to call names but isha has the best bird specialist on hand . I must say isha has never been in any form of a cage and she comes everywhere we go including working outdoors. Tell me how many birds get to live a life of freedom. Just out of interest what do you feed your bird, and if you would like to see isha now i will email you a picture.

You bird seems happy…. I too share the love of a female and male eclectus. She is fearless with the crows and that is awesome!

Having just seen the vid, I was totally wrong. She is a starlet who seems to love attention. Big snuggles from me!

It’s probably best that we don’t meet. Having a strange human in her territory would probably upset her more.
I’ll just adore her via youtube

I’m not a wanker, baby or not, the birds feathers look very bad, with eclectus, this can be due to diet.
June 18th, 2010 - 02:04
Nice bird but her diet must not be a good one, her feathers are horrible looking.
